Assistant Manager Position
The Scotland Kilt Company is a young and vibrant highlandwear retailer based in Edinburgh.
We are looking for experienced individuals who are looking to join a growing, exciting highlandwear brand as the assistant manager of our flagship store on Southbridge.
We have a growing online presence and the candidate must have good IT skills to be part of this progression.
We are seeking to recruit a ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER to join our store in Edinburgh. As a Assistant Store Manager you will work closely with your staff to motivate and inspire your team to go the extra mile for our customers.
You will have:
-Previous experience as a successful Assistant Store Manager looking to take the next step within fashion or luxury goods sector
-Proven track record in driving and achieving KPIs
-Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets
-A great eye for detail and display
-A vibrant and warm personality
-A passion for great customer service
-An inspirational and engaging leadership style
What you will be doing:
-Managing shop floor staff, dealing with issues where appropriate
-Motivation of the sales team
-Ensure staff are fully trained and versed in company standards and products and represent the brand in store
-Demonstrating excellent customer service skills on the shop floor
-Feeding back customer feedback to head office
-Recruitment of new staff
-Maintaining security in store at all times
-Managing store stock levels using our epos system
-Communicating store and company performance to your team
-Ensuring the store is neat, clean and tidy at all times
-Ensuring back of house is immaculate at all times to maximise shop floor performance
-Predicting sales trends to ensure your store is ready in all aspects
